I've installed the SpamMeNot W:AR interface add-on so now anyone who spams me is automatically blocked and reported. It's also capable of doing fuzzy matches to get around text substitution obfuscation like l337 speak, adding spaces and non-letter characters etc... I haven't had anyone spam me yet with it enabled, but other players I've encountered have been telling me that it works really well. Yup, I started reporting spammers.
