Wall-E: Leftist Propaganda and Anti-American?

Me? Anti-American?
I’m surprised at how people can be polarized over a movie such as WALL-E. I’ve heard people rant that it was “leftist propaganda” and “anti-American.” wTwNjzVFVU
I think those people are working the shoe horn pretty hard.
The themes in WALL-E are simple and apply to everyone:
- Don’t be wasteful, don’t pollute.
- Don’t live a sedentary, apathetic, inactive and materialistic lifestyle.
- Take personal responsibility and take action.
- Unplug once in a while and get out into the real world.
It doesn’t sound like partisan politics or anti-American sentiment to me. It simply sounds like good advice that if everyone took it to heart, the world would probably be a much better place.
