This series was known as Sei Jushi Bismarck (’Star Musketeer Bismark’) in Japan and had a 51-episode run from October 1984 to September 1985. In 1986, the rights were sold to World Events Productions.
As usual, everything was re-written for kids (they didn’t visit clubs & bars in the Saber Rider world, only “soda shops”
and the adaptation ran from 1987 to 1988.

While the English end credits have the usual recycling of action sequences from past episodes, the Japanese end credits (no credit overlay) stands in stark contrast with its softer sound, romantic theme and focus on the female character Marianne (J) / April (E).
