HAMMAH!
For the life of me I have no idea why Hammer Man suddenly popped into my mind after waking from a nap. I had been absorbing a bit of Makoto Shinkai's work lately. Does that have anything to do with it? Maybe it's all about maintaining a balance: extremely good animation countered with extremely horrid animation perhaps?
This was a seriously bad cartoon… and by "bad", I mean "not in a good way" bad. The opening credits belied the show's actual frame rate, which probably was about 6 frames per second tops.
