Kickstart Productions Inc. makes mention of working on a live action Robotech TV series. This is in addition to the new animated Robotech: Shadow Chronicles also being released.
We seem to be undergoing a Robotech revival. Live action Robotech, huh??? That’s a pretty tall order given the?epic story line and the amount of visual effects that would be required to tell it. The budget would be through the roof for a TV production.
Also mentioned on their web site is the Battle Chasers movie being made in conjunction with 20th Century Fox. The movie is based on the dead(?) comic book by Joe Madureira that I used to read. I Googled the Battle Chasers movie project and found most of the info’s pretty old. I think the movie was scheduled to be released 2004. 
Kickstart says they’re still looking for a director.

Boll says that he’s got three more theatrical releases coming out, bought and paid for but after that, he’s taking a break from video game movies because he’s tired of all the ‘haters.’ Oh, cry me a river…
